What do i write for this topic...well going back to the beginning of the year we discussed how we know things that we know. We talked about how in our early life our sources of knowledge and information come from our family, teachers, and friends and of course Google. But how are we certain that it actually has meaning? Well I think we can't know. Many things people observe have not been proven and are just accepted to be. For example the idea of gravity we know that it's due to fact that the Earth's mass is pulling everything towards its center. But what about far back in the past when people didn’t know any of this? They just knew that things would fall to down if they were thrown upward. So right now we know why and how gravity works yet we don’t know how everything works or what everything means if anything. It seems that as a majority of people begin to accept things the way they are, that’s how we become accustomed to them. The ancient Romans and Greeks had Gods due to fact that they didn’t understand why natural occurrences happen. They pretty much had a story that could explain why anything and everything happened. So does any of that actually mean anything??? Well we don’t believe in that stuff now or at least I don’t. But we know this means something when it holds a sort of influence over our lives. Whether it affects the choices we take or the ones we don’t. But for something to have meaning to ourselves it must have a great deal of effect on us first.
