The simple to answer to this question would be school, family(parents, siblings, aunts, uncles etc.), my own personal experiences. Knowledge is acquired through the means of the three stated options. However I feel like I prefer the knowledge gained from personal experiences is what is most beneficial to my life and greatly influences my knowledge.
In school you learn from books, maybe if you have a good teacher that tells you stories about their personal life that have been a learning experience it could be helpful. But mostly we learn from books and our friends in school. However books can teach us to a certain extent. Especially if the student doesn't like to read or has trouble understanding what they have read. It's kind of like the story of the parent telling their child to not touch the burning fire in the stove. If the child just reads about he might not comprehend that the fire is hot and will not obtain the lesson from the story. But if the child puts his hand next to the burning stove he will sense it's hot and might stop or will get burned but will learn a valuable lesson of not touching the fire ever again.
What if a friend would of told you that if you touch the fire it would burn you. If you trust your friend you might learn from him and not touch the fire but sometimes friends have learned from experiences themselves, or they might be obedient to their parents.
Family is another source of knowledge that I feel is beneficial. The experiences that my brothers have I feel like it is part of my own experience. What they learn from their mistakes I have also learned and hopefully will be wise enough to not make the same mistakes they did.
